With Sunday’s meeting only a day away, we want to be as prepared and organised as possible! Drivers please can we take note of the following please, we are doing this to help make the day run smoother. We are back to our normal start time, 12 noon, our gates open at 9am, spectator parking and disabled parking is on a first come first serve, we will have people helping out park, please be respectful to them at all times, they are doing a job they have been asked to do. Any abuse given and you will be removed from the site
Please try to avoid arriving before 9am, the road into the track needs to be kept clear to allow staff access to the track before gates are open for drivers and spectators and for the farmer/residents that live on the road to have access to.
Please bring cash only for the in gate, there are a number of cash machines around Carnforth to assist.
Admission price is; Adults – £12, Concessions/Under 16s – £5, Under 10s – Free.
Spectators please park responsibly. In the past we have had people dumping their cars at the side of the access round, which has meant emergency vehicles have struggled to get access due to inconsiderate parking.
Pit parking will be strictly for competitors and staff ONLY! There will be no additional vehicles allowed in the pits other than transporters.
Please park in your designated area, this is to aid tractors when clearing the track and our pit marshal when calling you for races, if you’re parked at the opposite end and you don’t get called and miss a race, that’s tough! If you have a car from each class, please park as close to the other as possible.
SCRUTINEERING will be in the usual areas.
Once you have been scrutineered you will need to check in at the booking office.
Drivers briefing will take place on the infield at 11:30am. ALL drivers MUST attend, you will be given a wristband when leaving the briefing, if you do not have a wristband you won’t be allowed on track for your race.
Race Format has been added, please make sure you are lined up ready for your race when the one before is going on track. Once all cars are on track that were lined up a 2 minute warning will be given out, if you are not round when this has finished the gate will be shut.
Please ensure you keep your area of the pits clean at all times and NO parts of cars are to be dumped or left behind at the end of the meeting. We will have staff walking round checking areas.
Please be careful when walking around the pits, drivers keep the speed down to a walking pace whilst travelling to and from the track.
When leaving the track please respect the locals and keep to the speed limits, we don’t want to be getting any complaints of people speeding or driving recklessly.
